After his highly infective house tune Bali, Ferris Verdi takes you to a country on another continent. Surinam, South America, the former Dutch colony where runaway slaves took their African heritage into the inlands. Marrons, as they were called, kept the energetic African sounds & rhythms alive in the jungle of South America. Ferris & LDM (both of Surinam descent) took an excerpt of an ancient Marron song and changed it into a massive club banger.As a token of respect to the people that inspired them, they called the track Marron.
